University Coach Accounts & Verification
Why Verify Your Account?
RECRUITED maintains a database of college coaches to help student-athletes connect with the right programs. Verified coaches benefit from:
- Accurate information — Ensure your contact details are correct
- Preferred contact flag — Let athletes know you're the right person to reach
- Recruiting needs visibility — Share what positions you're recruiting for
- Priority in search results — Verified coaches appear higher in athlete searches
Verification Process
To verify your account:
- Visit the University Coach Portal
- Enter your school email address (must be .edu or official athletic domain)
- Click the verification link sent to your email
- Complete your coach profile
Updating Staff Records
Verified coaches can update information for their program:
- Your own contact information
- Your title and role
- Recruiting responsibilities
Changes to other staff members require verification from that individual or admin approval.
Who Can Edit Program Data?
Program-level information (like roster needs, camp dates, etc.) can only be edited by verified program admins. The first verified coach at a program typically becomes the admin.
