Who built it
RECRUITED is a father-son build. Andy brings decades of sales, partnerships, and security leadership; Tate brings the athlete's point of view and helps shape the product from the inside. Together they built the tool they wished existed.

Andy Nickerson brought 25 years running sales and partnership teams, plus the security leadership that earned RECRUITED Google's CASA assessment. He translates that experience into the product: the outreach workflow, the follow-up logic, and the safeguards that keep athlete data private.

Tate Nickerson
Co-founder, 2027 Soccer Recruit
Tate is a 2027 soccer recruit at Mira Costa High School and plays for Beach FC ECNL. His team finished 3rd in the U17 ECNL National Finals in 2026.
He is also a design partner in RECRUITED — helping decide what features matter, how the experience should feel, and what athletes and customers actually need. He pressure-tests every idea on his own recruiting campaign before it ships.
