    Composing an Email

RECRUITED makes it easy to send professional, personalized emails to college coaches. Here's how the process works:

    Step 1: Select a School

Start by selecting the school you want to contact. This loads all the coaches associated with that program, making it easy to choose the right recipient.

    Step 2: Choose Your Recipients

Select the coach(es) you want to email:

    • The first coach you select goes in the To field
    • Additional coaches can be added to CC
    • You can also add personal contacts (like your club coach or high school coach) to CC

    Step 3: Write Your Message

Use the rich text editor to compose your email. You can:

    • Format text with bold, italic, and underline
    • Create bulleted or numbered lists
    • Add links to external content
    • Insert media from your profile

    Attaching Media

Click "Attach Media from Profile" to include your highlight videos. For each media item, you can toggle whether to enable click tracking.

    AI Assistance

RECRUITED offers AI-powered suggestions to help you write better emails. However, you are always in control—the AI provides guidance, but you write the final message in your own voice.

    Previewing Before Sending

Always preview your email before sending. Check that:

    • Your recipient is correct
    • Links work properly
    • Your signature looks right
    • There are no typos

    Automatic Draft Saving

RECRUITED automatically saves your draft as you type. If you navigate away or close your browser, your work is preserved. Find your drafts in the Drafts folder.

    Tips for Success

    • Personalize every email—mention something specific about the program
    • Keep it concise—coaches are busy
    • Include your highlight video link
    • End with a clear call-to-action
